Onboard is a self-service platform that makes it simple to collect, standardize, and work with your building data. From the equipment on-site all the way to launching your own analytics, we streamline the entire journey, so you can spend time using your data, not wrestling with it!

Your Building
In your building, equipment such as AHUs, VAVs, boilers, meters, and sensors are connected through controllers that communicate over the building network. These systems generate a wealth of data that can reveal valuable insights into the performance and health of your built environment.
Onboard Installation
Onboard's Edge Software is installed on your building's network. It connects to the equipment via IP using BACnet or Modbus, automatically discovering and collecting data from these devices with minimal permissions required. Only outbound access is required by the Edge Software.
Secure Transmission
Data is sent securely to Onboard’s cloud where it is stored.

Automatic Data Standardization
Once your building data reaches the cloud, Onboard’s AI-powered Mapping Engine automatically cleans and labels it.
Each label is assigned a confidence score along with top 5 predictions, so you can start streaming high-confidence predictions right away and fine-tune the data later.
Ontology & Data Tagging
Your data is structured with Google’s Digital Buildings Ontology (DBO) and enriched with Project Haystack tags for consistent semantics across all systems.
Intuitive User Interface
No more spreadsheets! You can easily manage, validate, and refine your data through a simple, visual interface inside the Onboard App.
