How does Onboard prevent discovery from impacting my building network?

Onboard minimizes network impact during discovery in a few ways. Discovery is throttled to five devices at a time, which keeps traffic manageable and works like a controlled, serial process. Discovery and scraping only run when needed. And normal data collection is paused during discovery to further reduce load.
